What can be done with a 100' antenna on top of an 850' tower up on a hill near Syracuse on 6 meters? Let's find out Tuesday April 3rd. All the details, and the whole story on a new soon to be repeater can be found here.
This will be an amazing repeater using the former analog channel 3 TV broadcast antenna, the test will show us just how amazing it might be.

I heard a rumor that a TV CH2 transmitter and antenna at the end of a 900 foot tower was lit up on 6 meters at about 25 KW using the aural transmitter. Rumor has it he was heard a LOOOOONG ways away. =)
