Yes, for example, most of SELA Law Enforcement, now including NOPD, are strapped Full Time Encryption. Its not that much in use in MOST of LA, but in places where it is being used, its used big time. Lafayette Parish Public Safety was set for full encryption from day one of LWIN codeplug programming.

The only TGs not allowed to have encryption are the Parish Interop/Coord's that are shared statewide. All other TGs can be encrypted as wanted by each agency.
And that is ONLY for the 4 original assigned to each Parish by the State GOHSEP. The others that the Parishes added onto those, they can, and some DO use encryption on.

Baton Rouge PD and EBR according to the data base have switched.
The dispatch channels on BRPD are using some encryption, while the other channels are full encrypted. On EBRSO, North and South Dispatch are using some partial, while the remaining is full.

If you notice in the database the ones listed as "De" are select encryption. the "DE" is strapped encryption (full)
