Just curious of the ins and outs what your opinions were if you’ve done it I know it’s a comp promise just looking for a maybe a little project for grins and giggles in these winter months I have an inverted V that works very well thank you

Below about 20m a hamstick dipole gets very inefficient and 80m is really bad. Compared to a full size dipole at the same height an 80m hamstick dipole might be 15 to 20dB down. You would probably put out a better signal with a full size dipole laying in the dirt.
