Hello all,

The picture as been taken while Tx on FT8. I noticed that the upper and lower meter have much different values for power out and SWR but the value for current draw are almost identical. Any idea why ?

I think a got it. The upper meter only shows 1 value at at time. On the picture the meter is set to indicate current draw. So when the upper meter is set to indicate SWR both meter indicate the same value. However when the upper meter is set to indicate power out there is still a big difference between the 2 meters, upper meter indicates 65 % and lower meter indicates 100%

There are some who might tell you that your ALC should be less than half what you are running for FT8 on an IC-7610.

I'm still trying to figure out how to adjust it
In WSJT-X, it's the vertical slider on the right side of the window labeled "Pwr":

Looks like the meter is set to measure and read: 1687697188284.png

That agrees pretty close with the Id in the reading below the meter:

Exactly..

Leave your radio at full power and pull the Pwr slider down watching your power meter until you have your desired output power. This will ensure a minimum ALC deflection..
