Base Antenna: 762-894 Mhz

when only antenna in use, what other bands would I also expect to hear ?

would the (460) & (154-155) bands, be deaf to my antenna?

I realize the antenna will do a much better job on it's assigned frequencies.
I was hoping to get an idea about how much the reception would deteriate out of band
especially the 154-155 & 460 mhz range

thank you for your reply, have a great day

with so many variables

just try it and see what happens.
try to get a good idea by listening to constant signals around the bands you want.
for 851 to 866 listen to a motorola control channel
150 to 174 noaa weather channel
high fm (107.9) for the air band unless there is an awos station around you.
just some ideas, too bad the tv stations are digital they would have been great for this.
the great thing is that with receive only you can try anything.
just for laughs i have used a tv splitter in reverse to combine a 150 and 800 mhz antennas to see what happens. it wasn't too bad.
experiment and find out.
