Here in the east valley I'm receiving a P25 control channel on 774.31875 with a NAC of 150 a system ID of 15A and WACN BEE00. Anyone have any clue as to whom this belongs to? I don't see anything in the DB or any info from an FCC ULS search. There is little to no activity on the system that I can tell.

More on New 700 Mhz P25 System

Hi.

I'm picking this system in west Chandler but can't pick up two of its neighbor sites (106 and 107). Below you'll find their control channels. This morning, I only saw 6 radios using the system. It is law enforcement, posibly an indian reservation. The WACN suggests that it is part of the TOPAZ cooperative. If anyone can hear sites 106 and 107, I would like to know where. If you have control channel decode capability, please post those sites' alternate and voice frequencies.

Site 108: Comes in 5x5 at Ray and Rural in Chandler

774.31875 control
774.06875 alternate

773.06875 voice
773.31875 voice
773.56875 voice
773.81875 voice

Site 106: Can't pick-up

770.21875 control

Site 107: Can't pick-up

770.18125 control

I am not able to receive those sites either from Brown and Lindsay area in Mesa, I haven't really monitored the system just had it connected to PRO96COM for a little while and saw no activity and only showed two channels for the system. I am able to receive it 5x5 with a yagi and a PRO197 where I am located. I'll have to leave it on for awhile and see if I hear any traffic that may help ID the system.

Well I've had PRO96COM running most of the day and have not received a single radio affiliation or radio key up. Also noticed that no callsign has been TX'd on the system.........darn that would have helped to ID it.

I've tracking this the past few days, this morning I hear a dispatcher talking in the clear, and the "Paul" units are encrypted. Law Enforcement for sure.

During an interoperbility test between PRWN and the Yuma system, they used Oatman Mt near Gila Bend as one of the patch points. Any chance you're hearing that?

However, there does not appear to be any pertinent license data for that location in the ULS.

For what it's worth, the copied traffic fits the pattern for Yuma Sherrif - 'Paul' are patrol units and last time I was in the Yuma area, dispatch was clear and mobiles encrypted. Of course Yuma doen't have the patent on that way of dispatching

This site does appear to be a site related to the Western Arizona Regional Interoperability Communications Systems (WARICS) as the System ID, WACN, and talkgroup monitored matches.
Western Arizona Regional Interoperability Communications System, (WARICS) Trunking System, Yuma, Arizona - Scanner Frequencies

Here is information from the system that can be heard in Phoenix.

System ID = 15Ah
Site ID = 108
WACN = BEE00
Control channel 774.31875

I am receiving 5 bars and 100% decode from about 32nd Street and Baseline in Phoenix. It's interesting that there is now a site for the WARICS in the Phoenix area. Anyone know where the site is located? I'm guessing White Tanks Mountain?

This morning between about 8:00am and 9:00am there was a lot of radio traffic on Talkgroup 205. Talkgroup 205 on WARICS = Yuma County Sheriff's Office.

Here are some callsigns and radio IDs that I monitored on this talkgroup:

Radio ID = 967 Dispatch (not encrypted)

(All non-dispatch units were encrypted)
ID4009
Paul 23
Paul 93
Sam 50 = ID4065
Paul 21 = ID4094
Charles 81 =ID4233
Paul 25 = ID4266
Paul 38 = ID4212
Paul 93 = ID4288
Charles 14 = ID4007
Paul 51 = ID4042
Paul 38
832 Sam
Paul 90 = ID4050
Paul 7 = ID4252

Mention of address "13448 E 45th Street". Doing a search this comes back to a Yuma address.

Mention by dispatcher of "suspension out of Ironwood"

Was listening between 7-9am and traffic REALLY picked up, I Googled a dispatched address on "Foothills Blvd" and came back to Yuma, so I guess confirmed all around.

I'm getting this system 4-5 bars in Chandler, 202 @ Alma, doubtful it would be White Tanks. Since we're both south, maybe the Estrella Mountain area?

Hello All,

I've updated the WARICS TRS to reflect these new frequencies. Please submit updates directly into the database as well.

Thanks,

Traveling through Phoenix Monday afternoon logged a lot of traffic on TG 542 on Site 108. Appears to be simulcasting DPS District 4 Yuma traffic in the clear.

Will submit to the database.
