OK, I know I've seen this before, but a search on here doesn't turn it up, so here goes. I entered the 700000 TG ID in my 780 so I could hear the ICalls (if any) on the State of Okla. SmartZone system. Today I'm getting alot of stops on TG 720425, but no audio. I understand that this ID actually is 2042X, with the last number being the status bit, and that there are some that I won't be able to hear, such as telephone interconnects. But I can't find the list of these status bits to check and see if the last number (5 in this case) corresponds to one of those that I can't monitor.

Can anybody help here? Am I basically right, or did I miss an essential fact when setting this up. I'm relatively new to trunking, as the nearest state site (or any, for that matter) is 30+ miles away, so I read alot of stuff I didn't pay attention to at the time. And (of course), now that I need it, I can't find it. :( Perhaps a trunking guru would consider putting this in the Waikiki, er-Wiki, there's nothing there at this time.

Thanks!

Thanks, Frank! Obviously, I looked under the wrong heading in the wiki. I went to the Trunking Faq and looked at Motorola there, should have tried the other.

Welcome to the forum. :)

I am currently listening to both sides on a 785D, it's flipping back and forth from 760555 and 760386. But both sides of the conversation are working.

To slightly re-direct this thread, I have been using the ".0" method via my ARC780 software and I never get I-Calls unless I switch from Scan to Search. This is consistent whether I'm monitoring a Type II system or an EDACS system.

What am I doing wrong?
