Hi All,
I listen to Toronto and area with my 780XLT...would anyone be willing to clone what they have on theirs into mine?I would if possible like to hear POLICE,FIRE,EMS,..perhaps HOUSING...or failing that should i just save my money and go digital?..lol....many thanks....77 nova..

you are welcome to the .usd files from my BCD996T. They are text files so maybe they can be edited for your XLT?

I suggest checking the files section on scanont. That's the best place for programming files.

thks for the replies...what i need is to meet someone who has a patch cable to DL stuff from theirs to mine..i live in Whitby and work in Scarborough....:...:>....77 nova

Your best bet is to buy ARC780 software and go to Staples or any computer store and grab a standard DB9 pin cable to program it yourself.. Usually you would require a Male to Female Serial cable.. Its better you do it yourself as you need to learn how to do it, you can't keep relying on others to do your programming for you... IMHO
