Hi,

I have built a remote display for the 780XLT. Used a 2 line display and a microcontroller and a bit of assembly code. I can display the frequency and alpha tag plus 2 buttons, MAN and SCAN.. , if both are pressed it will goto the weather. Once I get it into a case I plan to post pics. Anyone else try something like this?

Cool!!

Yes!! The project is just begging to be built. All the hard word is done already, gathering up the chips+ writing the code is the hardest part. I built this from parts in the junk drawer. Thanks for sharing.
