796: Card Error

I have had my 796 for about two years now. I have noticed, on occassion, that the scanner will stop decoding P25 for no apparent reason. Sometimes when it does this, it displays the message "CARD ERROR". I then usually turn it off and then back on again, which seems to fix the problem. Is this normal, or something to be worried about?

Mike check your firmware version. I'm pretty sure the last firmware fix was to address this kind of error. 73s Mike

I'll try that. I never have actually done that (partially because I lost the programming cable). It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen.
