Outside of all the other features is there much difference in digital voice quality (clarity) or reception between the 796 & the 996? After reading here, I understand that the coming 996 upgrade will improve the digital voice clarity. Have a 780 love the format & structure, so I'm leaning towards a 796, but have to do what's best for reception maybe the 996?
