796D Expansion Slot

Okay so when I thought I was having problems with my digital card it said to reset the card by pulling it out and putting it back in. Well I took ooff all 4 of the little screws with not problem, however when it came to the big screw, I could not get it off. In fact I slightly stripped the screw trying to turn it. Has anyone had this problem before?

No idea whether this is a contributing factor, but the four small screws shouldn't be removed. Unscrew the big one and the access door comes right off.

what kid of problem are you having with the card?
their is a firmware update for the 296/796 on unidens website.
