Happy Wednesday everyone!

We have an update to the PC app (TRX-1/2, WS1080/88 and WS1095/98) today.

The revision notes are below.

Happy Scanning!

  • Added DMode and Alert columns to import and export on the conventional tab. The DMode column will be overridden when DMR or NXDN mode are selected, or when the squelch tone is set to NAC mode.
  • Fixed a NAC import issue when the value placed in that column was invalid. A warning message will appear when an invalid entry is found for information and the NAC value for the item being imported will be set to search mode in these cases.
  • Fixed export issue on the conventional tab where some values were not being exported correctly.
  • Updated the header row detection method in the conventional import to better pre-select the fields for each column.
  • Fixed an issue on the conventional listing where creating a new conventional object or editing an existing conventional object would allow entering an invalid NAC value.
  • Fixed an issue with how the app was saving search lockouts which would cause the scanner to not recognize the locked out frequencies or allow additional frequencies to be added.

I am still having the issue where if you do a centering of any or all alpha tags while in the conventional tab, the delay gets reset to 0.0 seconds. I sent an email to the bug fix group at Whistler yesterday after seeing that the latest update still hasn't resolved this bug.

Would LOVE to be able to select specific digital modes, while excluding Analog, in search!

You can select which Digital modes you want it to decode, but Analog still comes through also

If I tell my TRX-1 or Modified PRO668 to search just a particular digital mode ANALOG does NOT come through.

@RRR Now that I said that, let me clarify, the mode selection ONLY works in the limit search, the settings do not carry over to the spectrum search or other searches.

It will. but I would not go online with XP due to you are highly at risk of being hacked. XP end of life was a long time ago and it is not getting any more security fixes. Ezscan needs to go online to retrieve data.

Each conventional frequency and trunked talk group are specified to be used in a scanlist. You can have many different scanlists specified for one frequency or a TG. So just add a new scanlist, say #100, to the local frequencies and TG's that you sometimes want to monitor without the others being monitored. Then select in the menu to scan only that #100 scanlist.

You could also make different vscanner folders for each area. I think you're allowed up to 20 vscanner folders.
