what is t 8 air med 1 just hear pickaway township ask Air Evac to go to 8 air med 1 never heard that befor they always us safty forces com here in pickaway county anyone know what this is and what Frequency they would use they said it was a national channel

thanks much will get on it i didnt know any of that tryed looking it up but didnt have any luck looks like i got some work and programing to do thanks for the quick reply

If you look under Franklin County you will see them listed as AIRMED 1 and AIRMED 2 with the 'Deprecated' tag under their pre-rebanding frequencies.
Otherwise they are better known as 8CALL or 8TAC depending on the frequency.

You might also check the old frequencies 867.0125 and 868.0125. Some agencies may still be using them.

In any case, the "Airmed" channels are going away statewide in favor of the standard 8CALL/8TAC channels. All they is 8TAC92D and 8TAC94D with different names, and there is no point in them since everyone already has the 8CALL/8TAC channels.
