8 Shot and Killed in Appomattox

Crazy, guy still at large over 12 hours later. 8 dead so far, also nearly took out a State Police helo after shooting at it and hitting its fuel tank. Story making national news. I don't have a digital scanner so can't pick up the State Police.


3 shot and killed not far from there in Farmville a couple months ago. What's going on out there?

Just heard a BOLO on conventional 159.165, which I'm sure have been going out all night, but didn't have the Appomattox division programmed in. Surprised I'm picking that up down here outside Roanoke.

Wow didn't even realize all this was going on. Too bad they couldn't have ended it when he shot the helo. I wouldn't doubt it he ends up getting shot by an LEO when they do find him because he isn't afraid to shoot at them and if he makes the slightest move towards a gun he will get taken down and rightfully so.
