800 antenna question

Is any one familiar with this type antenna? If so what opinions do you have. Thanks.

We tried one on loan from a dealer in 2004. However, we went with the Radiall-Larsen NMO 150/450/800 model because it had better performance on 800 than the one you mentioned... and gives us the flexibility of monitoring all three bands with one antenna.

If you are JUST monitoring 800, try the one you mentioned... It should work as well as any other single band 800 3db mag mount...

Yes, it will be for mainly 800Mhz.

A guy on Epay has a reasonable price on the Larsen tri-band whips, see item #170075371346. I picked up several from them last year and they work ok.
