On the Washington wiki pages, the 5 800MHz STATEOPS channels
show as being in the 867 MHz region.

I'm assuming this is not correct post-rebanding.
Could anyone verify the frequencies of the 5 STATEOPS channels?

Thanks!

The State Ops channels have not been rebanded and they are all still very active and used today.

I am noticing with the new 700/800 systems going in the post rebanded
StateOps as well as Nespac repeaters are being licensed.

I can tell you that the State Opes Freq's that are used in the Trunk system are used in Simplex mode. So if you are monitoring you have to be close

Washington State Incident Field Operations Guide

I found a pdf on the web dated 5/7/2010 entitled
Washington State Incident Field Operations Guide

they show this channel setup post rebanding:

852.5375 base/mobile WAOPS1 Washington Tactical
852.5625 base/mobile WAOPS2 Washington Tactical
852.5875 base/mobile WAOPS3 Washington Tactical
852.6125 base/mobile WAOPS4 Washington Tactical
852.6375 base/mobile WAOPS5 Washington Tactical

I was curious if the 867.xxx channels previously mentioned are presently active.
I mean to say has anyone heard activity on them this year for instance?

Don't want to belabor the point,
but we might as well have the very latest info.

Yes the 867.xxxx frequencies are still used in the Puget Sound area here. As indicated earlier, all comms are low power. Most of what I hear is STOPS1 and STOPS4 (FD usage for fire ground onscene comms). You'll have to be close to the action to hear them.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to program in both sets of frequencies just to be safe.

Thanks very much for your replies RBMTS.
You have the logical answer:
Program in both sets.

Happy scanning all...
