I have been playing with my pro 2067, in the search mode, when I started getting hits on freq 820.4875. It appears to be Frederick Co, and is using 5 digit talk group ID's (41520, 46480, 55888, 56304, etc...) .....but this isn't in the spectrum of freq's listed for them (they start at 867.xxxx +/-).

Can someone explain if this is normal, or have I discovered something new?

Paul, the input frequencies are 45 mHz below the output frequency in this range which would make that the input freq for 865.4875 although I don't think that's one of Frederick's freqs.

I did check several web sites with the Frederick Co Trunk system listed...as well as the Fred Co Repeater freq's, and no, the 820mhz is not in line with anything listed....but what I find the most odd, is the completely different talk group ID's. Assuming that the freq was correct for Fred Co, why would the talk groups change?

Ahhh...that makes a difference. I thought you meant it definitely was Frederick activity. In that case, find out who uses 865.4875 as an output TRS freq and see if the talkgroups match that system.

[Edit] Did a scan of MD, PA, DE and DC -- freq 865.4875 is not used in any of those locations. So something is not making sense here Paul. I can't even guess what you were hearing.
