I feel the need to clarify. I just got the AOR VI8200 Voice Inverter Card that fits inside the lower slot on my AOR AR8200-MK3. It did not come with any literature, and it would be great to find out what to expect while using one of these cards as Googling the topic doesn't yield any useful results.
I do not know that the scrambled channels I am receiving are inverted or not, but if I could understand how to use this card, it would be easier to figure out if these channels are indeed inverted, and how to dial in their settings.
To any users of these cards, if you have any tips, advice, or links to documentation, please post them. All help is greatly appreciated.
Yes, I believe it is, but I'm not entirely sure. All it says on it is "VI 8200 Voice Inverter".
Wow, Mike, you're so insightful. Thanks for your amazingly useless post. I almost feel like I should have paid for such an educated contribution.
I'll look into the dialing options. Hopefully they'll be in the regular manual. What kind of agencies do you find are using the voice inversion? Local/federal/etc?
Thanks!
