Does anyone know what exactly 852.5375 167.9 PL is used for in the Inland Empire? I just heard a pursuit here with street locations in Moreno Valley (Riverside County). The database shows it as Chino Hills State Park, but I think this is unrelated. The units were definitely State Parks (SURCOM dispatcher callsign), but I am just trying to figure out exactly what area this freq covers. Perhaps another freq for Lake Perris?

I have a 2011 era State Parks frequency list, so treat accordingly as to accuracy:

I show that as:
SurCOM Control Station on Santiago Peak.

Using a different tone, it's CMARS out of Riverside County.

State Parks officers, I believe have the same authority as CHP, so could pursue someone in the city, does not seem to be very many of them. Have to find something to listen too in Temecula next week.

I listen to that frequency occasionally, and it sounds like CHSP is more of a ‘geographical reference’ than where the officers work. They’re all over the place, and get involved in a lot of stuff outside the park.
