WS1098: 88-108Mhz FM Radio

Could FM Radio be enabled in a future firmware update or is this a hardware restriction ?

I have my WS1098 on my bedside table, it would be great if I could replace my bedside radio with my Whistler

That is not a firmware thing, as the radio will not do wide FM, so even if they did not restrict those frequencies, you would not be able to listen to it anyways.

So I will answer it, not possible. :wink:

If you choose UK,it actually does that frequency range,but again the scanner has no way of decoding Wide band FM,unlike Uniden's BCD-436hp
