As opposed to 10-4, in Ogle county i hear 90-xx. This is Ogle county Sheriff, does anyone have a list of these codes, they do not match up to the 10 codes so I have no idea what they mean, and that may be the idea. Any help would be great!

They could changed it around.. It could be where if 1042 *home* and they could say 9042 could be the same as 1042 but than again I have no idea too far to hear it....

No, i said in the first post that they do not match up, i tried that already. For whatever reason they have there own code list which doesnt make much sence to me and would hurt interoperablitiy if they had to communicate with other agencies.

The PD's that Ogle Sheriff is responsible for also use the 90 codes. Rochelle has their own completely different system.

But, you won't here just 90 codes. There is also a smattering of other numbers.

Example: 104 - on duty
105 - off-duty

I know a few of the 90's though.

90-25 traffic patrol
I'll remember more, I'm just returning to the scanner hobby. And boy do I suddenly hate MDT's

OK, 90-25 i hear often, I would think that someone has a list for the 90 codes. What area do you live in? I'm up by Byron so there is not too much to monitor, but I have some stuff in there for the county, the power plant and such. I moved back to this area after being gone for 6 years so a lot has changed. I'm trying to get some starcom21 stuff programed, there is a site in oregon, il but it doesnt seem to be active. As for the MDT's, you know some of the older ones can be decoded with a scanner and a computer. I'm not sure if anyone in this area uses the older versions.

Unfortunately no.

There was severe MVA near Rochelle several years ago. A man lost his mother and daughter in the accident. Him and his wife used the money they had saved for their daughter's education to purchase video cameras for every car in the county. Since then he has been raising money to equip all of them with MDT's. Once he did that, he has continued raising funds to keep updating the equipment.

I'm over in Mt. Morris.
