900 MHz strange sounding data channel

I am currently receiving a unknown type of data, possibly a trunking system on the following frequencies 938.9875 and 939.1375 MHz, from the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. I am thinking they might be MPT-1327 control channels. With tonight's propagation they might be from anywhere around the Great Lakes region. Anyone else hearing them?

Did you try doing an FCC web site search on those freq's?

There are many power & water utilities using 900 for SCADA on remote equipment monitoring
so it could be one of them.

Yes, I did and I came up with nothing that was convincing. Moreover, the data stream being transmitted was not SCADA. This one has me totally baffled.

Yeah thunderbolt when I decide to scan the 800 mhz and 900 mhz band that I can get on my Analog RadioShack Pro-2032 I hear those channels all the time and wonder if they are Police remote Computer systems like the computers that they have in their cars.

probably Industrial type trunking CC & systems . look in youraea forum to identify if ya can. you didnt tell us whwat frequencies?? be more specific
