listening to citywide , heard 9040 and 9042, and there isn't a 9D last time I checked,lol. so what are they ??? Anyone got a unit list? I had one years ago, but I have no clue where it's at, or even if it's still valid, if I found it...

Cruiser 9xxx can be anything from Crime Scene to Communications. 9239 is a Crime Scene cruiser. These cruisers are also Administrative cruisers like the SOMB (Security Officers Management Branch) or Office of Organizational Development.

helps shed some light on the situation, sounded like crime scene vans, they were talking about getting prints.....9040 and 9042 then switched to 1D tac....
