Seems to be a 3600 baud control channel that randomly swithches between the two. One day it is on 8125, and maybe the next two on 8625. System ID comes up as 6415. I have seen a few talkgroups (992, 997, 1136, 1184, 1216, 1234), but have not been able to make out what the voice traffic is about. Anyone know what/who this is and why it swithches between the two freqs?

It is common for Motorola systems to rotate the control daily. Motorola systems may have up to 4 different channels capable of being the control channel.

It would be helpful if you told us where you are located (city/county) so that we can assist you in determing who owns the system.

If you are in the Denver area, you may be hearing a SMR system. Those channels are part of a block license used by Frontier Radio Communications in Denver: WPOM262.

Sorry about that. I thought about that after I posted. Yes, I am in the Denver area.

I always enjoy the search for new systems & talkgroups. So far all I've heard is 1232, which sounds like a tow truck company. Let me know if you get any more ID's.
