I have seen it used but extremely rare. 9 times out of ten it's "962 INVOLVING PEDEST". Glad you were able to get the answer.

962P is the nature code the dispatcher types when entering a call for service for a 926 involving pedestrian. Samantha voices "962 involving pedestrian".

When it's a larger incident or a vehicle injuries multiple pedestrians, the call type is a MED2-1 or MED3-1 but the description reads Medical Response. The dispatcher will then override the description to more accurately reflect the nature of the incident. So it may say "962P MED2-1" or whatever the dispatcher types.
