996 & P25 search??

is there away to search in P25 digital mode on the 996? There is so much on this scanner and not explored half of it yet. But I was wanting to do some searching.

Not that im aware of, however while searching if it comes across P25 it is displayed on screen. I think DCS/CTCSS search has to be off.

Yes, PL tones MUST be off, found that out the hard way, I knew there was a new digital system but couldn't find it and after a couple days realized the search for tones was set to on, found what I was looking for almost immediately once it was off!
