Is it possible to program in a UHF P25 system without the bandplan info ??? I want to program in the Yonkers, NY Police trunk system which is located at the bottom of this page:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?ctid=1884

All that is given are the 3 frequencies in the listing. The Yonkers system is not listed at the top of the page along with other trunked systems. I have no idea which channel is the Control channel, or any other info. Do stations in the 400 Mhz spectrum follow a standard bandplan ??? How do I tell which channel is the control channel ???

I looked at the link you posted, down at the bottom, the city of Yonkers is not part of the trunked system, they are conventional frequencies.

Program the frequencies as conventional channels (not as P25 trunked). The scanner will detect that they are P25 and decode the audio.
