I'm not sure what you call it but I've attached a video. Is there anywhere to get this from stopping every so many seconds it's getting real annoying. I have other 996p2's and they don't do it. I have reprogrammed, moved the scanner and still get it. I put other 996p2 right where this one was and I don't get the white noise or static at all.

No idea why video didnt upload. But it just sounds like squelching every so often. Its not ENC or anything

did you try tightening the squelch control until it stops.
That might of worked. I thought i had it tight enough guess not. Have not heard it since i adjusted it
