996T with rebanding

Quick question with the Franklin County rebanding systems

All I have to do is input the 4 or 5 control channels and it will scan the system. I don't have to make some sort of whatever a custom band plan is. Correct.

Same thing with Marcs and the new IP-Marcs

The new MARCS IP doesn't require a custom band plan table since it is true P25. The Old MARCS needs one.

I'm not familar with the Franklin Co. system but just looking at the RRDB I think you will need a custom band plan table.

There are plenty of folks in that region on here and they can help you out.

And your firmware must be up to date. The older firmware in the 996T can't handle rebanding
