996XT Instant Tune

Can any one tell me how to tune quicky as follows.

Radio is scanning from its preprogrammed scan list.

An adjacent channel signal offset stops the scan but is
unintelligible.

How can I quickly tune off the center freq the radio stopped at
say, + - 5khz or 12.5?

I can see how to do that when searching a custom search, but not
from a freq in the scan list itself.

There's no way to "quickly" do it. You would just have to directly enter the freq manually.

Thanks, I thought I was missing something.

When in custom search one can press hold
and scroll up or down,but from what I can see not a preprogrammed freq.

Trouble is I never know if it is above or below center.

Oh well, guess quickly is not possible.

When on the freqy in manual press "Func + Scan, that give's you "TUNE UP, or "TUNE DOWN"....If you hold you can go up every 5megs.....
