I want to program san diego county trunk system in my Bearcat 996xt. The options are APCO 25 or Analog trunk? With san diego county it has analog and apco 25 mixed on the same system. Doesn't anyone know which one I use? Or any other settings? The old one gave me selections for Splinter also and I noticed this one doesn't? Please help. Thank you for all!

This might help (all links are blue)

Program your DMA Scanner - The RadioReference Wiki

At the bottom of this article is a little mini table with links to the Easier to Read manual written by one of our own here on RR :.>> There's also lots of other help here including links to our Glossary and our DMA FAQ

The RCS is mixed-mode Analog and Digital SmartZone, not P25.

I don't believe you will be able to copy anything from Rosamond, however.

yes I know it is well out of range. I am one of the lucky people who travel all around as a routine. As for the mixed mode also I know that. That is precisely what the question was directed at. Will it still decode the analog along with the P25? Thank you though I really appreciate all input.
