996xt strange screen images (MODE)

This mode is new and unexpected, since this scanner has no real documentation, reference or user guide from uniden i have no idea what it is, what it does or anything.. so ill post the pictures and see if i get any assistance. There are a bit out of focus but what is happening is these bars are running along a line when i press hold. there are some solid and some in the group of solid that blink, it seems completly random..

That is the trunking system activity monitor. In Hold Mode you press Func -> 6 to change. There are 3 modes.
