The Siren Update from UPMan mentioned an iPhone app, but didn't mention an Android app. I thought that Siren was going to be for Android. Is the iPhone app a new development or is there no Android app?

They are going the iPhone app first, probably because there are more iPhones the Android. Upman's phone is the Android type, so it's a safe bet he's going to keep the development folks on their toes.

Actually, Android phones outnumber iPhones. Android has 80.2% of the phone market to iOS having 14.8%. Mobile app revenue is growing faster on Android than Apple as well.

The entire "iPhone dominates the mobile phone market" idea is pure fallacy.

The only reason I can see for Uniden developing the iPhone app first is that someone in the development management group uses an iPhone and has enough clout to force the decision.
