Seen a lot of these over the years on eBay. Seems a bit suspicious. Some are really ridiculous Money transfers?

Some are. Right. I'm not sure this one is, but it could be. A person would have to be dumb as a stick to pay that much. With a little research, they'd not only see what these normally sell for, but also that they could buy an SDS200 for less money!

I understand these kinds of sales are a cover for what I'll call "money laundering".

I always contact sellers like that for fun. Sometimes they give rediculous reasons, some times they don't.

I bought a couple military ACU Camo "Thales Radio Holsters" from e-bay. They go for really cheap $8 - $12 shipped One popped up in Coyote Brown. It is admittedly a rare item.

The seller was a militaria seller local to me. So I watched the auction and soon realized it was a closed auction and sold for well over $700. I have to wonder if the auction was for a gun or something else that ebay would disallow.
