Does one exist anywhere? I've gone through Google as well as every county in Alberta to piece together a massive Firenet repeater list but I'm still missing a large chunk. I also have a few conflicting numbers from the database regarding inputs & tone. Anyone up to help tackle this?

Firenet repeaters use about 11 frequency pairs with 3 different tone sets. There are a handful of one-off odd repeaters that don't follow that format, but most of them are set up that way.

The numbers are reused too. Just because 202 is in one place doesn't mean it couldn't be used in another location entirely as well. 202 will, however, be the same freq pair & tone no matter where it is in use.

IIRC the database should be correct, as somebody had a forestry manual a couple of years ago. The channels are all in their respective county pages, not on the main Alberta page.

What conflicting numbers do you have? I monitor and use the ones in the Bow/Crow and Elbow/Sheep areas pretty regularly.

Ah the tones make sense now. Similar to how PACS 'recycles' Alpha/Bravo only Firenet has a 'Charlie' as well, now that gives me a better way to organize this mess. Also these are all from the RR database, I spreadsheet every county. Anyway here are the conflicts I found, pretty self explanatory.

* - indicates repeat from another county

FN201A 152.480 157.740 162.2 PL
FN201B 165.810 168.735 162.2 PL

FN209A 152.600 157.830 173.8 PL
FN209B 152.600 157.860 162.2 PL**

FN214A 152.675 157.815 173.8 PL
FN214B 152.675 157.935 162.2 PL

FN224A 152.585 157.845 173.8 PL
FN224B 152.645 157.905 173.8 PL

FN231A 152.690 157.935 186.2 PL
FN231B 152.690 157.950 173.8 PL**

FN238A 152.555 157.845 186.2 PL
FN238B 152.555 157.815 186.2 PL**

FN245A 152.660 157.920 162.2 PL
FN245B 152.615 157.875 186.2 PL

I'm guessing the repeats are the correct sets however the other half I'm unsure of.

That certainly doesn't sound right.

There are two licenses in Spectrum Direct which should give you all the data you need, frequency-wise. This one has 299 frequencies and this one has 6200+. The second one has repeated license allocations for all the mobile operations, tanker bases, etc., across the province.

I can tell you that the 231 input frequency is 157.95 as far as Moose Mountain is concerned. 157.935 is the input for 152.675 (seen in your list as 214).

If you look at those licenses you should be able to correlate the frequencies properly. If you do find things needing correction, please of course submit them so the DB admins can get us straightened out. :)

Hey sorry I've been busy with school the last while but it was nice to stop by & see a few ideas/posts to look over. When I have time in the future I will review all my data & if I do find any more discrepancies I will bring it to the forum's attention. Thanks a bunch guys!
