A&E Live PD and Richland / Greenville Traffic

Anyone monitor Richland and/or Greenville Sheriff to see how "live" the show actually is? I can't monitor either from Sumter County. Every now and then I pick up Richland's digital traffic, but it's spotty.

it has to be to be able to edit out language and people's consent about been filmed. I like the show but sometimes seems rehearsed :roll:

I figured as much. Are they operating on normal dispatch channels or are they on special TAC channels? Has anyone watched and actually heard on the show what they heard during the transmissions?

Don't you mean 20-30 second? I thought I overheard a dispatcher give a time check and it was only a couple minutes behind real time, accounting for encoding, uplink, downlink, uplink, downlink, then decoding on your TV STB

calls come over to the scanner they could be chasing somebody and then it seems like 20 or 30 minutes later they'll say going back to Richland County now just a few minutes ago they were chasing a vehicle and I'm like that's old news LOL
