Hello,

I tried to search this and did not find it in the forum.

It would be a really awesome feature if I would receive an email notification when a new license is granted to a County or Agency I have in my "Watch" list.

Thanks for considering. (I understand this may not be possible to add to RR)

While it may not be exactly what you're looking for, there is a bit of a way to see the most recent licenses.

If you go to "My RR" (a premium subscription feature) each county will have three icons next to it -

If you click on the lightning bolt, it will take you directly to the history of changes for that county (the same is available for trunked systems as well). The middle icon will list all FCC licenses sorted by grant date, with the most recent at the top of the list. The last one is the standard license lookup page, sorted by frequency.

Knowing that RR updates the FCC database weekly on Thursdays (and somebody tends to complain here in the forums if it doesn't get updated), I tend to just do a quick run down through my counties every Thursday or Friday to see the new grants.

It may not be an e-mail like you're looking for, but it works for me, especially with the predictable update schedule.

There are a few sites you can join that monitor webpages and can alert you when the web page changes.

Just wanted to say I agree, having email notifications for new license grants tied to your watch list would be a really useful feature. It could help people stay on top of changes without having to manually check each week.

Not sure how complex it would be to implement, but it’s something I’d make use of too if it ever became available. Good suggestion.

Personally I don't see a need for an email although I can understand how that may benefit some but, visiting the RRDB & just a couple of mouse clicks later you get the latest 250 grants in your state...
