A/G Coms In MSSF

Last Sat (11/17/12) I was passing through Myles Standish State Forest and observed a helo flying only a hundred feet above the ground in a widening search flight pattern with its spot light on pointing at the ground. I assume it was a SPD helo. As I got close to one end of its elongated passes, it was over my car and then followed me along the road I was on only a hundred feet above my car. A short distance away it veered off and went back to its "search" pattern.
Has anyone heard any coms about this activity that started at about 6:30 pm that night? If so, what was it all about?
At the time I was monitoring the park freq and heard nothing as well as the Carver PD.

I assume you mean MA-SP or MSP for the Helo, as local agencies don't have a Helo [Only in the Movies and TV, did Boston]

Thanks Bill for the info. This happened in Myles Standish State Forest so I doubt it had anything to do with what I saw. Another question as to what went on on the Scan New England site about the same event said it was a MSP drill involving searching for a party and escorting them out of the woods.

Yes the MSP was training, last Fri, Sat and Sun night, but I didn't hear them drilling that night [atleast into Zone 5], but did hear them running search patterns for the Kidnap/Carjack/Assault incident
