I have a question for any member of the that is more Computer savy than I am, and will
probably be all of You. I think that when I signed up to be a member of this group, that it
said that I "past the cookie test", now does that mean that I can not get rid of some or all
the "cookies" that show up when I run my "Anti-Spy" program??. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thank You.

Most if not all Anti-spyware programs recognize that many sites require cookies. I would bet that you will be able to pick and choose what cookies to keep (if you are even at that high of a security level).

Don't worry about. If you can get in here you'll know it because you will not be Banking, doing Amazon, or eBay either. :)

Hi 15 and all,

"If the cookie test is successful, then it means that your software is configured properly to allow cookies that this site requires."

True, however if you put this URL in the "trusted zone" and set it to low, then the "Internet zone" to high you'll block unwanted cookies while saving those in the trusted zone. If you have it set to delete cookies and temporary Internet files you'll lose them when you close the browser. Personally, I don't mind logging on each time I visit, I just don't want a huge and ever growing file taking up space on the HD.

"...I "past the cookie test", now does that mean that I can not get rid of some or all
the "cookies" that show up when I run my "Anti-Spy" program?"

The "clean up" software be it anti-spy or other housekeeping will delete the cookies unless it's configured to ignore select items. It can also be configured to display potentially dangerous items and delete only what you select manually.
