what sites would i need to program in my scanner, taking 85n from the south carolina line to cabarrus county?

Do you mean the SC / NC state line, or the SC / Ga state line ?

If you mean within NC, Charlotte / Mecklenberg and Concord / Cabarrus have trunked systems.

The main sites for Charlotte / Mecklenberg use the same frequencies and control frequencies.

The same is true for Concord / Cabarrus County.

You will need the Palmetto 800 sites from G'ville East, including the York site,... and the CharMeck TRS's, all the stuff mentioned above, and the Lo Band NCSHP stuff.
