Comparing apples and oranges. My $35,000 pickup truck will carry much more firewood that a $200,000 sportscar so it must be better even if they are both motor vehicles. I use all the Windows programs, I use all the Uniden products. Each radio setup has strengths and weaknesses.

The response many posts ago was accurate that a TRX-1 and 436 are not $700 scanners. When the OP specified all scanners, that included the SDS series, which doesn't have an issue on simulcast.
