Being that nobody has come up with a concrete answer for you, here's a possibility. In an old 2000 Radio Shack Police Call Directory I have, there's a listing for A1 Taxi & Limousine in Fort Lee, New Jersey - 452.500. I checked the FCC Database and there is no current listing for them and when I did a second search on the frequency, there was no license for them for it. You didn't indicate a location for them, but if this is, in fact, the company you are looking for, they could still be using the frequency without a license. Illegal, yes, but it happens. Another possibility is that they may be using Nextel.

Not relative but thank you anyway

Hello:
I worked for A1 Limo in 1996-1997. The radios in the cars could transmit easily to the base in West Windsor (Rt 1 ) from Phily Airport, Newark Airport, NYC and just about anywhere in the try State area.
That is why I am confused. They must have several repeaters and 200+ radios but I have never been able to find them on the scanner.

It's also possible that they could be on some sort of commercial TRS. A lot of the taxi companies in Philadelphia operate on various commercial LTR systems, so it's possible the company you're referring to does the same.
