Oh lord, last night my girlfriend and I went for a walk in the park late (11 - 12am) because it was so hot out. I took my scanner with me to listen for any trouble. Sure enough all we got were some laughs.

This is what I heard on the stampede special channel.. A12...

Officer: "Unit-x to control..."
Dispatch: "Dispatch, go-ahead"
Officer: [*serious-tone red neck voice*] " I'm gonna go grab a bbq burger, and clean my guns.. I think we may just need'em tonight." [*somebody on the grounds yells Yeeeeehaaaaaawww in the background*]
Dispatch: cues up... silence..
Dispatch: cues up... then cues down again quickly.
Dispatch: uhh roger... [*slight laughter in the background...*]
