A2G LAZER NOTAM?

anyone want to speculate on this one? wording is a bit different from what i normally see "AIRBORNE TO GND LASER" and they mention the pax eyes as well, all a bit strange as no one seems concerned about the little guy on the ground's eyes. must be wearing shades:

Very interesting, possibly a LIDAR mapping aircraft? Usually it is going the other direction, so this is odd.

my thoughts exactly. certainly a good guess with the LIDAR. I notice in central NC alot of mapping flights(back and forth grids that is) going on as of late. ya'll know that sandborn maps co. still exists? yeah, well tahts the kind of thing they do now apparently.
