AA County - Great Chesapeake Bay Swim

Lots of activity on Fire TG 240 1H SOPS 1 in support of the Swim across the Chesapeake.
If you haven't heard the marine units like Fireboat 61 and Paramedic 6? before, todays your chance.

The swimmers have just cleared the middle span, so about halfway.

During an incident you can hear the marine units on marine Channel 16 or 22 but most commonly 16. Channel 16 was also very active during this event. channel 16 allows the fireboats, Coastguard and DNR to all communicate. Also during an event such as the one about 2 weeks ago when someone jumped from the Key bridge, Balt Co, Balt City and AA County Boat units can Communicate with each other on this channel.
