Interesting already --- things will get better... preprogrammed CAD changes didn't work as planned...
PM32 (Linthicum) already dispatched from quarters to Co. 26 area (South Glen Burnie) TWICE today... closer units already tied up..
They've already had cause to dispatch TWO ALS units on a single call based on the type of call..
0759 QNT10, MU30, and MU13 for trouble breathing
0913 E211, MU21, and PM29 for chest pain...
The good news is the "backup" unit was placed available in both cases prior to their arrival... still, potentially moves the backup unit way out of their area and ties them up at least until it is determined that they aren't needed.
Interestingly, I haven't heard any EMS duty officers yet today either....
