I see the AAA liscense has disappeared from the FCC database. I haven't heard them for a while on 159.930.. I read somewhere they were going p25.. What form-unknown..Anyone know?

And if so, I'm guessing you can hear their dispatch radios for towing, or what do you hear on your scanner from this organization, if indeed it's the one I'm asking about?

yep-the tow truck..was vhf-159.930----now silent...........Their lingo was basicly pickingup cars at mva's, always complimenting each other ( oh,youre the man ), stuff like that

The license calls for them to go narrowband analog only. However, I do remember they were looking at digital. But I think it was MotoTrbo or NXDN.

They are NXDN now, I believe on the trunk system on Mt. Hope.
Jacob, is the Mt Hope trunk a radio shop or a AAA system? I'm guessing radio shop, but wasn't sure.

Ahhh, they were in the Maine part of the database.. I checked the emissions page, they are in the analog dept..Change over?---Thx, think I'll scan those freqs...

I just heard a NEXDEN signal on the Farmington AAA freq---159.390....O.K, 1 more entity gone from the scanning archives..

159.3900 is the State of Maine, not AAA
How about 159.9300 ??
and might it be this user instead since AAA is still licensed ONLY for Analog

I've been scanning all their conventional freqs within 50 miles of me. The only sound I heard was the Nexden..Not to switch states here--but to semi answer your question about TRS's here, I only scan Maine radio management and Maine radio. Theres the usual oil trucks---turbo--and I think I heard Nexden once, but theres alot of Nexden on the Horrizon Mobile TRS..2nd note--while typing this, I scanned the 2 TRS's, no signal...Just Farmington's Nexden

I am picking up a Icom IDAS (Nxdn) trunking system on 152.3075 and 152.4425 and I am hearing AAA voice traffic on those frequencies. This is likely WQFA991 Horizon Mobile Communications. They are licensed for 152.3075, 152.3375, 152.3675, 152.3975, and 152.4425 in Goffstown.
