AACo FD 154.01

Has anyone else noticed over the past couple of days that only Fire Alarm is coming out on the 154.01 simulcast? I haven't actually heard the unit end of the conversation since about Wednesday night. I can hear FA loud and clear, and hear them talking to units but I haven't heard a single unit in six hours of listening over the past couple of days. I hope this isn't intentional or permanent, as I use the Pro-29 in the car just to listen to 154.01 and 154.28 while I'm driving around so I don't have to move my scanners back and forth between the car and house. I also will keep the Pro-92 on 154.1/154.01 during heavy activity while base listening using the 785 so I don't miss any traffic... I'll be really disappointed

Could be just the way the patch is set up now. I myself prefer to just listen to 1A on the TRS. I get tired of listening to the tones.

I should put this into the "You Know your a Scannerhead" forum....

You know your a scannerhead when you can tell what stations are going to be dispatched just by listening to their dispatch tones. Even better you can almost guest the box area they are going to just listening to the order the tones are blown.

Who needs a minitor when I'm around. :lol: :lol:

That's half my fun, I actually LIKE listening to the tones drop At least that hasn't gone away yet. I'll probably cry if they ever switch to a toneless system.

I like trying to figure out who's who and where the call is gonna be. You probably just have it ingrained and wish you didn't, I'm TRYING to get that way. :lol:
