listened to this all night Tgid of 0-10-131 and heard towing company called
Rendered Services at3601 S. Iron St Chicago. These guys use spotters at parking lots
and tow cars as soon as you leave it.

I've been tuning in on them the past couple of nights while working. Certainly some interesting chatting going on back and forth.

Yes, these guys are not very nice, they will swipe your car before your right leg is out....Heard them say "there is a Chicago City Van, we better not tow that or we will be in trouble....Then they mentioned the guy is getting in another car and leaving the Van, maybe we should hook it....Nasty...

On a somewhat related note, not sure if it's a sensitivity issue or a programming issue, but for some reason I can't seem to get this trunk system on my PRO-106 nor my PSR-700, but it comes in strong on my BC346XT.

I can have them sitting all next to each other and I hear everything on the 346, but the other two are silent.

Just thought I'd throw that out there

I hear it here in Joliet on my GRE500 (same as RS106) but in a certain spot in the house...The GRE/RS scanners are very bad on hearing outside interference which they become desensed.....I have that trouble somewhat on my 346XT but only on certain VHF freqys.....

Well, I am now receiving that system on the 700 after messing around with it some (although I'm still not sure what I did to get it working). The signal strength is just about as good as on my 346.

I'll try again on the 106 again in the next day or two. Maybe I'll have equal success.

:)
